ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE SNOW TRAIL GROOMING APPARATUS A snow trail grooming apparatus comprises a main frame which is supported at a forward end on on a pair of skis and at a rearward end on a transverse flat pad extending across the width of the frame. At a forward part of the frame is provided a plurality of cutting discs with the disc surface having a forward edge extending substantially in a direction of travel of the frame and a rearward edge curving rearwardly and inwardly toward a centre of the frame tending to cut the snow as it moved forwardly and then direct the snow rearwardly and inwardly. The disc is thus provided on two separate axles inclined forwardly and inwardly from the sides of the frame toward a central forward apex between the two axles. The axles are attached to a support frame across the width of the main frame which can be lifted at either side independently or jointly to a transport position. Rearwardly of the cutting discs is provided an accumulator section with a transverse blade and a semi cylindrical culvert section mounted on top of the blade to provide a rolling action of snow lifted by the blade. The cut snow is thus lifted by the blade in areas of excess snow and rolled in the accumulator section and can be deposited from the accumulator in areas of reduced snow quantity. The rear flat pan acts to slightly compress and finally level the snow released from the accumulator.
