A stent comprises a plurality of axially spaced serpentine bands. Each serpentine band has a proximal and distal end and consists of a plurality of interconnected struts. The struts are of substantially the same length. Serpentine bands which are adjacent one another are connected one to the other. The stent further comprises a plurality of wishbone connectors. Each wishbone connector connects two serpentine bands which are adjacent one another. The wishbone connectors have an elongate portion which is disposed between the two serpentine bands and does not overlap longitudinally with either of the two serpentine bands. The elongate portion has a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end has two legs extending therefrom to one of the two serpentine bands and the distal end has two legs extending therefrom to the other of the two serpentine bands. At least one wishbone connector connects serpentine bands which are adjacent one another.
La présente invention concerne un tuteur comportant une pluralité de bandes en serpentin à espacement axial. Chaque bande en serpentin présente une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale et est constituée d'une pluralité d'entretoises liées entre elles. Les entretoises sont sensiblement de la même longueur. Les bandes en serpentin qui sont adjacentes les unes aux autres sont reliées les unes aux autres. Le tuteur comporte en outre une pluralité d'éléments de liaison en Y. Chaque élément de liaison en Y relie deux bandes en serpentin qui sont adjacentes l'une à l'autre. Les éléments de liaison en Y présentent une portion de forme allongée qui est disposée entre deux bandes en serpentin et ne se recouvre pas longitudinalement avec l'une ou l'autre des bandes en serpentin. La portion de forme allongée présente une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale. L'extrémité proximale comprend deux jambes s'étendant à partir de celle-ci vers l'une des deux bandes séparées et l'extrémité distale comprend deux jambes s'étendant à partir de celle-ci vers l'autre des deux bandes en serpentin. Au moins un des éléments de liaison en Y relie les bandes en serpentin qui sont adjacentes l'une à l'autre.
