A method of applying a bioactive agent and/or a polymerization or cross- linking rate modifier and/or a polymerization initiator to an applicator tip includes dissolving or dispersing the rate modifier, the initiator, and/or the bioactive agent in a low boiling point solvent, applying the resulting solution or dispersion to the applicator tip, and drying the applicator tip. The initiator and/or rate modifier is preferably applied in a methanol solvent and distributed along a concentration gradient on the applicator tip.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'application d'une substance bioactive et/ou d'un modificateur de la vitesse de polymérisation ou de réticulation et/ou d'un initiateur de polymérisation à une pointe d'applicateur. Le procédé consiste à dissoudre ou à disperser le modificateur de vitesse, l'initiateur et/ou l'agent bioactif dans un solvant à point d'ébullition bas, à appliquer la solution ou la dispersion obtenue à la pointe d'applicateur et à sécher cette dernière. L'initiateur et/ou le modificateur de vitesse est de préférence appliqué dans un solvant à base de méthanol et distribué sur la pointe de l'applicateur selon un gradient de concentration.
