This invention provides a method for reducing the water saturation in the near- well region. Along with various well treatment possibilities, one application of this invention increases the injectivity rate of a substantially nonaqueous fluid into a subterranean formation. The preferred embodiment uses this invention to increase the injectivity of solvent gas into an oil-bearing formation for enhancing the amount and/or rate of oil recovery from the formation. The method includes injecting a second fluid into the near-well region of the injection well to displace at least a portion of the water from that region. Displacement of the water and subsequent displacement of the secondary fluid allow maximum injectivity for the primary solvent being injected for oil recovery.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de réduire la saturation en eau dans une zone proche d'un forage. Cette invention, qui offre différentes possibilités de traitement de forage, permet notamment d'augmenter la vitesse d'injectivité d'un fluide sensiblement non aqueux dans une formation souterraine. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, cette invention est également destinée à augmenter l'injectivité d'un gaz dissolvant dans une formation pétrolifère, afin d'accroître la quantité d'hydrocarbures récupérés à partir de cette formation et/ou la vitesse à laquelle ces hydrocarbures sont récupérés. Le procédé susmentionné consiste notamment à injecter un second fluide dans ladite zone proche d'un forage d'injection afin de déplacer au moins une partie de l'eau située dans cette zone, le déplacement de l'eau, puis celui du second fluide, permettant en effet une injectivité maximale du premier solvant injecté pour pouvoir récupérer les hydrocarbures.
