The invention relates to a medicament with controlled release, comprising a pellet having an inert core, a first coating that is applied to the inert core and a second coating that is applied to the first coating. The medicament is characterised in that the first coating and the second coating contain the active substance galanthamine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvent thereof, and the composition of the first coating is different from the composition of the second coating and at least one of the coatings comprises a film-forming, water insoluble polymer.
