The present invention provides pyrotechnic grains of composition comprising at least one oxidizing charge and at least one reducing charge and no binder. In characteristic manner, said grains are in the form of substantially cylindrical blocks: with a thickness of more than 5 mm; with an equivalent diameter of 10 mm or more; and with porosity in the range 1% to 8%, limits included. Said grains, advantageously based on guanidine nitrate and basic copper nitrate, are suitable for the slow, low-pressure generation of gas over an extended period.
La présente invention concerne des granules pyrotechniques dont la composition consiste en au moins une charge oxydante et au moins une charge réductrice et aucun agent liant. D'une manière caractéristique, lesdites granules se présentent sous la forme de blocs sensiblement cylindriques ayant une épaisseur de plus de 5 mm, un diamètre équivalent à 10 mm ou plus, une porosité variant de 1 % à 8 % inclus. Lesdites granules offrent l'avantage d'être à base de nitrate de guanidine et de nitrate de cuivre basique, et elles sont appropriées pour la génération lente et à pression réduite de gaz, durant une longue période.
