Method for desalting an aqueous liquid containing a charged substance comprising the steps of:(i) contacting liquid (I) with an ion-exchanger (1) under conditions permitting binding between ion-exchanger and substance, said ion-exchanger comprising a base matrix carrying an ion-exchange ligand (Ligand 1) with the opposite charge compared to the substance, (ii) desorbing said substance from said ion-exchanger by the use of a liquid (liquid (II)). Wherein: (A) ion-exchanger (1) is an ion-exchanger::(a) that can bind the substance in an aqueous reference liquid at an ionic strength corresponding to 0.1 M NaCl, preferably 0.25 M NaCl; and (b) permits a breakthrough capacity at the pH provided by liquid (I) which is more than 2 mg/ml of gel, at a breakthrough of 10% and linear flow velocity of 300 cm/h;and(B) in step (ii) the pH of liquid (II) is adjusted to a pH value where the charge difference between the substance, the ligand and/or the ion-exchanger is lowered.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de dessalement d'un liquide aqueux contenant une substance chargée comprenant les étapes consistant à:(i) mettre en contact le liquide (I) avec un échangeur d'ions (1) dans des conditions permettant la liaison entre l'échangeur d'ions et la substance, ledit échangeur d'ions comprenant une matrice de base portant un ligand échangeur d'ions (Ligand 1) de charge opposée par rapport à la substance, (ii) désorber ladite substance dudit échangeur d'ions au moyen d'un liquide (liquide (II)). Dans ce procédé: (A) l'échangeur d'ions (1) est un échangeur d'ions:(a) qui peut lier la substance dans un liquide de référence aqueux selon une force ionique correspondant à 0,1 M NaCl, de préférence correspondant à 0,25 M NaCl; et (b) qui permet une capacité de rupture au pH présenté par le liquide (I) qui est supérieure à 2 mg/ml de gel, pour une rupture de 10 % et pour une vitesse d'écoulement linéaire de 300 cm/h; et (B) dans l'étape (ii), le pH du liquide (II) est ajusté à une valeur de pH où la différence de charge entre la substance, le ligand et/ou l'échangeur d'ions est réduite.
