Typically, the installation of a chimney or flue involves the use of metal or other approved chimney materials and apparatus. These are known to be unsightly, especially on newer homes, and detract from the overall appearance of the dwelling. A traditional solution to hiding said chimney apparatus involves the manufacture of a "box" or "chase" from conventional wood products, and is usually covered in Vinyl siding, clapboarding or parged with concrete. In this invention, a pre-manufactured Chase is produced from fibreglass or other composite materials in such a way as to resemble very closely a Stone chimney when installed on the roof over existing metal or standard brick flue work. This creates the look of an authentic stone chimney, while at the same time aiding in the prevention of damage to the conventional chimney from the elements. The chase is easily shipped in four identical units or sides for assembly at the site, and is easily trimmed at the lower edge to facilitate the particular pitch of the roof. A cap or cover can then be added to keep snow, leaves and other wind- born debris from building up within the chase cavity. Additionally, the assembled chase unit may be used as a Garbage box when combined with a suitable lid, or for use in any number of applications such as weather proof bar or counter skirts, flower or shrub containers
