The present invention relates to a method of producing chemi-mechanical pulp, comprising grinding wood in a grinding mill housed in a grinding chamber, maintaining the chamber at an overpressure and spraying water onto the wood. The invention is characterized by supplying via the spray water to the grinding mill chamber. Highly advantageous results are achieved when the oxygen addition is supplemented with a peroxide addition. The spray water is preferably alkaline.

La présente invention concerne une méthode de production de la pâte chimico-mécanique comprenant les éléments suivants : défibrer le bois dans une râperie logée dans un compartiment de défibrage, maintenir le compartiment dans un état de surpression et pulvériser de l'eau sur le bois. L'invention est caractérisée par le fait que le compartiment de la râperie est approvisionné en oxygène par l'intermédiaire de l'eau de pulvérisation. On obtient des résultats hautement avantageux lorsque l'addition d'oxygène est complétée par une addition de peroxyde. De préférence, l'eau de pulvérisation est alcaline.
