A control system (1) adapted to provide an IT structure for a building is disclosed, including a plurality of interconnectible units (3) each including Ethernet capability with I/O serial connections, a head end unit (2), and a room unit (4), the units being connected in series and being modular whereby to provide an IT system for a whole building. A unit (3) for use in such a single network structure is also disclosed, comprising a first connector for supporting an in-bound feed from a source external to the unit and a second connector adapted for data distribution to a data recipient element.

L'invention concerne un système de commande (1) conçu pour servir de structure IT pour un bâtiment, qui comprend: une pluralité d'unités (3) pouvant être interconnectées, chaque unité présentant une capacité Ethernet avec connexions série d'entrée-sortie; une unité tête (2); et une unité de salle (4). Les unités, qui sont connnectées en série, sont modulaires, ce qui permet de créer un système IT pour l'ensemble d'un bâtiment. On décrit une unité (3) utilisable dans une telle structure de réseau simple, qui comprend un premier connecteur servant de support à une alimentation d'entrée provenant d'une source extérieure à l'unité, et un second connecteur conçu pour la distribution de données à un élément destinataire des données.
