ABSTRACT Structural support posts for elevating nets over and around horticultural crops for the purpose of pest, wind or light exclusion, are known to provide for the attachment of wires in various configurations. In this invention, the posts are fitted over pegs driven into the soil such that the posts may be easily removed. Furthermore, the posts are fitted with hand-adjustable fasteners to allow easy loosening, tightening and removal of wires. Furthermore, the posts are fitted with guides to secure support wires. The posts may be constructed of various materials and with variable dimensions to adapt to specific horticultural crops requiring protection.
