A box for storing and transporting at least one recording medium, consisting of a single element with two parallel walls (11, 12) defining a storage space with an access opening (13) at one end of the box. The inner surface of the first wall (11) is covered with a positioning means (5) which resiliently urges the recording medium against the second wall (12), said second wall being provided with a window (3) making it easier to translate said recording medium back and forth between its storage position and a position in which it is outside the box, and the positioning means (5) is made of a cleaning material with a texture such that, when the recording medium is translated back and forth in the box, said material automatically cleans the whole of the playback surface of the medium every time it is inserted or removed. Said box is useful as a packaging for recording media.

Pochette de stockage et de transport d'au moins un support d'enregistrement constitué à partir d'un seul élément à deux cloisons parallèles (11 et 12) délimitant un logement de stockage, dont l'ouverture d'accès (13) est située sur l'un des côtés de la pochette. D'une part, la première cloison (11) est recouverte sur sa face interne d'un moyen de maintien en position (5) qui, par un effet ressort, plaque le support contre la seconde cloison (12), cette dernière étant munie d'une fenêtre (3) pour faciliter la translation réversible dudit support entre une position stockée et une position extérieure à la pochette. D'autre part, le moyen de maintien en position (5) est en un matériau nettoyant dont la texture, lors de la translation réversible du support dans la pochette, nettoye automatiquement le support sur toute sa surface de lecture, à chaque entrée ou sortie. Application aux emballages de supports d'enregistrement.
