The invention relates to a method, a network, a boundary node and a server for restricting the traffic in a packet-oriented, connectionless network for an efficient QoS transmission of prioritized data packets. According to the invention, reliability checks are carried out that include a reliability check with respect to the network input and the network output. The reliability checks allow to check whether resources meeting the requirements to transmission of a group of data packets of a priority class are available in the network. The invention allows to avoid resource shortages, especially at the network input and network output, thereby safeguarding QoS transmission.
La présente invention concerne un procédé, un réseau, un noeud périphérique et un serveur destinés à limiter le trafic dans un réseau hertzien à transmission par paquets, pour rendre possible la transmission efficace de paquets de données par ordre de priorité avec un bon niveau de qualité de service (QoS). Selon l'invention, des vérifications d'autorisation sont faites, lesdites vérifications comprenant une vérification d'autorisation à l'entrée réseau et à la sortie réseau. Les vérifications d'autorisation de l'invention permettent de vérifier si, au cours de la transmission d'un groupe de paquets de données d'un certain niveau de priorité, les ressources correspondantes nécessaires sont disponibles dans le réseau. L'invention permet d'éviter les manques de ressources, notamment à l'entrée et à la sortie du réseau. Une transmission avec bon un niveau de QoS est ainsi assurée.
