A User Equipment (UE) has as circuit that performs the acquisition for the low chip rate option of the Universal Mobile Telecommunication System (UMTS) Time Division Duplex (TDD) standard as formulated by the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). The present invention implements the detection (10) of the basic SYNC code; the determination (20) of the midamble used and the detection (30) of the superframe timing based on SYNC code modulation sequence. This enables reading of a full Broadcast Channel (BCH) message.

L'invention concerne un équipement utilisateur (UE) comprenant un circuit qui exécute l'acquisition pour l'option faible débit d'éléments de la norme duplex à répartition dans le temps (TDD) du système universel de télécommunications mobiles (UMTS) telle qu'elle est formulée par le 3GPP (projet de partenariat 3ème génération). Ce circuit met en oeuvre la détection (10) du code de synchronisation (SYNC) de base, la détermination (20) du <= mi-ambule >= utilisé et la détection (30) de la synchronisation de la supertrame à partir de la séquence de modulation du code de synchronisation. Ce processus permet la lecture d'un message complet du canal de diffusion (BCH).
