The invention features a catheter assembly (51) and methods for delivering a hydrogel lines stent (50) to a body lumen, and methods for lining a scent with a hydrogel. The assembly includes a catheter (51) which has a balloon at least a portion of which is coated with a hydrogel, and an expansible stent (50) mounted on the balloon in a contracted condition for passage with the catheter (51) to a site of a body. Expansion of the balloon lodges the scent (50) in the body with hydrogel coated on the inner surfaces of the stent (50) as a lining.

L'invention concerne un ensemble cathéter (51) et des procédés de placement d'une prothèse endovasculaire (50) présentant un revêtement d'hydrogel dans une lumière d'un vaisseau corporel, ainsi que des procédés de revêtement d'une prothèse endovasculaire avec un hydrogel. L'ensemble comprend un cathéter (51) comportant un ballonnet dont au moins une partie est enduite d'hydrogel, et une prothèse endovasculaire (50) extensible montée sur le ballonnet à l'état contracté afin de permettre le passage avec le cathéter (51) vers un endroit du corps.
