Process for in-service measurement of temperature in at least one cooking zone of a cooking area with a glass ceramic plate based on an empirically derived correlation between the transmission of light through the glass ceramic plate in a wavelength range of the temperature that is typical of the respective glass ceramic material, with the steps: irradiation of the glass ceramic plate in the cooking zone from the inside toward the outside with light in the wavelength range of 700-1500 nm, with the light being reflected at the outer surface of the glass ceramic plate and passing through the glass ceramic plate a second time; detection of reflected light with a photocell, generating a photocurrent that corresponds to the transmission of the glass ceramic plate in the cooking zone, and determination of the temperature of the cooking zone from the derived correlation between the transmission of light of the specified wavelength and the temperature of the glass ceramic plate.

Procédé de mesure de la température en fonctionnement d'au moins une zone de cuisson d'une surface de cuisson dotée d'une plaque vitrocérame. Cette mesure s'effectue selon une corrélation dérivée empiriquement entre une transmission de lumière à travers la plaque, dans une plage de longueurs d'onde de température propre au matériau vitrocérame, et les étapes suivantes : irradiation de la plaque vitrocérame dans la zone de cuisson, depuis l'intérieur vers l'extérieur, avec une lumière se situant dans la plage de longueurs d'onde de 700 à 1500 nm qui est réfléchie sur la surface extérieure de la plaque et qui traverse ensuite la plaque une seconde fois; détection de la lumière réfléchie à l'aide d'une cellule photo-électrique produisant un courant photoélectrique qui correspond à la transmission de la plaque vitrocérame dans la zone de cuisson. On détermine enfin la température dans la zone de cuisson, selon la corrélation dérivée entre la transmission de lumière de longueur d'onde précisée et la température de la plaque vitrocérame.
