This invention concerns an economical way to use shives, previously considered to be waste material, in the production of building materials. To that effect, shives of bast fiber or plant origin are targetedly added to bast fiber and a bonding agent. The shives can contain fibers which are not completely released and remain naturally attached. These fibers project laterally from the shives in an irregular fashion and are between 2 mm and 100 mm long. The shives and the loose fibers and/or the shives with the non-completely released fibers are fed, after corresponding dispersion and dosage, into a coating device for liquid additives and/or into a scatter system for solid additives, and subsequently evacuated as fleece or cake, during which mechanical matting can be performed by air flow.

L'invention concerne une façon économique d'utiliser des bûchettes, qui étaient considérées jusqu'à maintenant comme des déchets, dans la production de matériaux de construction. A cet effet, des bûchettes de fibre libérienne végétale sont ajoutées de façon ciblée à la fibre libérienne et à un agent de liaison. Lesdites bûchettes peuvent contenir des fibres qui ne sont pas complètement libérées et restent naturellement fixées. Ces fibres font saillies latéralement, de façon irrégulière, sur les bûchettes et sont d'une longueur comprise entre 2 mm et 100 mm. Les bûchettes et les fibres lâches et/ou les bûchettes avec les fibres n'ayant pas été complètement libérées sont amenées, après une dispersion correspondante et un dosage, à un dispositif d'enduction pour additifs liquides et/ou à un système de diffusion pour additifs solides, et ensuite évacuées sous la forme d'une nappe ou d'un gâteau, un feutrage mécanique pouvant alors être réalisé au moyen d'un courant d'air.
