Inflatable clothing that is designed for comfort. Inflatable, waterproof air capsules are incorporated into clothing to cushion various parts of the user's body while on hard, cold or wet surfaces or rough terrain. The inflatable air capsules are comprised of durable, impermeable fabric and are inflated, deflated and pressure adjusted by the user by means of an inflation and deflation valve. Inflatable air capsules may be used to cushion any part of the body. For example: an inflatable air capsule designed into the lower, back panel of a coat or vest will provide people such as sportsmen, campers, sports fans, the elderly or frail, and people who live or work in cold or wet climates with a waterproof, cushioned seat within their garment. Inflatable capsules may be designed into clothing to cushion the knees, shins, calves, ankles, hips, wrists, elbows, crotch, buttocks, back, head or neck or any other parts of the body. Inflatable clothing lends itself to a wide range of design options for various types of activities and can be tailored to suit the specific needs of the user.
