A resin nozzle positioner (10) for a rock bolter (12), having a frame (14) supporting feed tracks (74, 78) traversed by a drill (76) and a bolt driver (80), has a resin nozzle (44) that guides a resin sausage into a hole (24) drilled along a work axis (20). A positioner base (28) is fixed to the frame (14) and two arms (30) are pivotably connected to the positioner base (28) and to a nozzle block (38), to which the resin nozzle (44) is mounted. The arms (30) remain parallel and move such that the resin nozzle (44) remains parallel to the work axis (20) while moving along an arc between a retracted position, where the resin nozzle (44) is spaced apart from the work axis (20), and an extended position, where the resin nozzle (44) is aligned with the work axis (20). An actuator (54) operably connected to two elements selected from the arms (30), the positioner base (28), and the nozzle block (44) serves to move the resin nozzle (44).
