The present invention relates to a method for producing an insulating material element and an insulating material element. In order to provide a method for producing an insulating material element by which a very resistant insulating material element can be made that is able to insulate a flat building surface very effectively against heat and/or sound, the invention proposes that the insulating material element (2) be bent such that a surface segment of the first large surface forms at least one surface segment of the side surfaces running parallel to the recess in said area, and is substantially flush to the second large surface. In order to provide an insulating material element (2) for insulating two building surfaces aligned at an angle of ß.noteq.0° to each other against heat and/or sound that can be adapted to the angle ß such that an effective heat and/or sound insulation of the building surfaces can be attained, the invention proposes that the recess extend to the lamination (3) without weakening the lamination (3), and that the recess comprise two surfaces (6, 7) running at an angle .alpha. to each other, the angle .alpha. corresponding to the difference between 180° and the angle ß between the building surfaces.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un élément isolant et un élément isolant. L'invention vise à créer un procédé qui permette de fabriquer un élément isolant très résistant, qui confère une isolation thermique et sonore très efficace à une surface plane d'un bâtiment. A cet effet, l'élément isolant (2) est plié de manière à ce qu'un segment de la première grande surface forme au moins un segment des surfaces latérales s'étendant dans cette zone parallèlement à l'évidement et soit sensiblement affleurant avec la deuxième grande surface. L'invention vise à créer un élément isolant (2) destiné à l'isolation thermique et sonore de deux surfaces de bâtiment formant entre elles un angle ß.noteq.0°, et pouvant être adapté à l'angle ß de manière à conférer une isolation thermique et sonore efficace aux surfaces de bâtiment. A cet effet, l'évidement s'étend jusqu'au revêtement (3) sans l'affaiblir et il présente deux faces (6,7) formant entre elles un angle .alpha. qui correspond à la différence entre 180° et l'angle ß entre les surfaces de bâtiment.
