The present invention features a coke drum de-heading system comprising (a) at least one coke drum having an orifice therein; (b) a de-header valve removably coupled to the coke drum designed to de-head the coke drum; and (c) an exchange system, including an upper and lower bonnet and other elements and members adapted to integrate the de-heading system, and particularly the de- header valve, into the manufacturing system. The de-header valve itself comprises (1) a main body having an orifice dimensioned to align with and couple to, in a concentric relationship, the orifice of the coke drum; (2) a live loaded seat assembly coupled to the main body and comprising a dynamic, live loaded seat, a live seat adjustment mechanism coupled to the main body and designed to control and adjust the force and resulting seat load of the dynamic, live loaded seat, and a force transfer module in juxtaposition to the dynamic, live loaded seat for transferring the force from the live loaded seat adjustment mechanism to the dynamic, live loaded seat; (3) a static seat positioned opposite from and counteracting or counterbalancing the dynamic, live loaded seat; and (4) a blind or sliding blind capable moving in a linear, bi-directional manner within the de-header valve and between the dynamic, live loaded seat and the static seat, such that upon actuation of the blind from a closed position to an open position, the coke drum is de-headed.

L'invention concerne un syst­me d'ouverture d'un four ~ coke comprenant (a) au moins un four ~ coke ~quip~ d'un orifice; (b) une vanne d'ouverture reli~e d~tachable au four ~ coke con×ue pour ouvrir le four ~ coke; et (c) un syst­me d'~change comportant un couvercle sup~rieur et inf~rieur et d'autres ~l~ments con×us pour int~grer le syst­me d'ouverture, notamment la vanne d'ouverture, dans le syst­me de fabrication. La vanne d'ouverture comprend elle-mÚme (1) un corps principal pourvu d'un orifice dimensionn~ de mani­re ~ s'aligner sur l'orifice du four ~ coke et ~ Útre reli~ ~ ce dernier dans une relation concentrique; (2) un ensemble si­ge charg~ dynamique reli~ au corps principal et comprenant un si­ge charg~ dynamique, un m~canisme de r~glage de si­ge dynamique reli~ au corps principal et con×u pour contrÙler et r~gler la force et la charge de si­ge obtenue du si­ge charg~ dynamique, et un module de transfert de force juxtapos~ au si­ge charg~ dynamique afin de transf~rer la force du m~canisme de r~glage de si­ge charg~ dynamique vers le si­ge charg~ dynamique; (3) un si­ge statique positionn~ ~ l'oppos~ du si­ge charg~ dynamique et ~quilibrant ou contrebalan×ant ce dernier; et (4) un obturateur ou un obturateur coulissant capable de se d~palcer de mani­re lin~aire bidirectionnelle dans la vanne d'ouverture et entre le si­ge charg~ dynamqiue et le si­ge statique, de mani­re que lors de l'actionnement de l'obturateur d'une position ferm~e en une position ouverte, le four ~ coke soit ouvert.
