The invention relates to a variable rotor speed wind turbine (1) transmitting AC electric power to a utility grid (13). The wind turbine comprises at least one AC generator (7) and at least one power electronic converter unit (10). Further, it comprises means (10, 15, 20) for transforming at least one nominal output value of said generator to at least one different nominal input value of said at least one power electronic converter unit. The invention also relates to a wind park and a method of transmitting AC electric power to a utility grid (13) from a variable rotor speed wind turbine (1) as well as a method of servicing or inspecting a variable rotor speed wind turbine.
L~invention concerne une turbine éolienne à vitesse de rotor variable (1) transmettant de l~énergie électrique en courant alternatif à un réseau de distribution (13). La turbine éolienne comprend au moins un générateur de courant alternatif (7) et au moins un module électronique convertisseur de courant (10). Elle comprend en outre des moyens (10, 15, 20) de transformation d~au moins une valeur nominale de sortie du générateur en au moins une valeur nominale d~entrée différente du module électronique convertisseur de courant. L~invention concerne également une centrale éolienne et un procédé de transmission d~énergie électrique en courant alternatif à un réseau de distribution (13) à partir d~une turbine éolienne à vitesse de rotor variable (1) ainsi qu~un procédé d~entretien ou d~inspection d~une turbine éolienne à vitesse de rotor variable.
