This invention relates to a eyeglass case and visor with a novel method of attachment to the limbs of a pair of eyeglasses, so that the eyeglasses are firmly connected to the visor at the forehead of the wearer of the eyeglasses, in an attitude which keeps it from drooping into the vision range of the user. More particularly, the visor is formed of two plies of material, the top ply is crescent shaped and the bottom ply is crescent shaped with the corners removed to allow for a wide opening pocket and proper placement of attachment bands on the bottom of the top ply of material. The top and bottom plies of material are connected together along the convex edges of the top and bottom plies of material, but are left substantially unconnected along the other edges except for a fastening means, thereby forming a wide opening pocket in which the eyeglasses can be placed without removal of the eyeglass limbs from the visor attachment bands.
Cette invention porte sur un boîtier à lunettes et sur une visière, ainsi que sur un nouveau procédé de fixation des branches d'une paire de lunettes permettant que les lunettes soient solidement raccordées à la visière au niveau du front de l'utilisateur, dans une position qui les empêche de tomber dans le champ de vision de l'utilisateur. En particulier, la visière est formée de deux couches de matériau, la couche supérieure ayant une forme de croissant et la couche inférieure ayant également une forme de croissant, mais dépourvue d'angles de façon à pouvoir former une poche à ouverture large et à placer correctement des bandes de fixation au fond de la couche supérieure du matériau. Les couches supérieure et inférieure de matériau sont raccordées le long de leurs bords convexes, mais ne sont quasiment pas raccordées le long des autres bords, à l'exception d'un dispositif de fixation, ce qui forme une poche à large ouverture dans laquelle on peut placer les lunettes sans retirer les branches de lunettes des bandes de fixation de la visière.
