Process for regulating the temperature and making uniform the temperature profile of a molten metal billet A process for regulating the temperature and making uniform the temperature profile of a molten metal billet, in particular of a steel billet, during its flow through an outlet in a metallurgical vessel is proposed, wherein the billet in the outlet is heated up through inductive electromagnetic coupling of the outlet and/or of the billet by means of an electromagnetic ac field and is agitated through inductive coupling of the billet by means of at least one spatially variable magnetic field.
Procédé permettant de régler la température et d'uniformiser le profil de la température d'une billette de métal en fusion. Ce procédé est applicable à une billette de métal en fusion, particulièrement une billette d'acier, lors de son écoulement dans l'orifice de départ d'un récipient métallurgique, au moyen duquel la pièce coulée présente dans l'orifice de départ est chauffée par couplage électromagnétique inductif de l'orifice de départ ou de la billette elle-même à l'aide d'un champ électromagnétique c.c. et est agitée par couplage inductif au moyen d'au moins un champ magnétique spatialement variable.
