A valve closure for a container, having a body, a valve and a lid. The valve is positioned across the opening of the container and itself has an opening through which the contents of the container may be dispensed. The lid is moveable relative to the body between open and closed positions and is shaped to block the valve opening, when the lid is in its closed position. The lid has a projection, which forms a peripheral seal around the valve opening, when the lid is in its closed position, and within the periphery of the projection, the shape of the lid substantially conforms to the shape of the valve and / or body, to minimise the volume therebetween.
L'invention concerne un obturateur de soupape destiné à un conteneur, comportant un corps, une soupape et un couvercle. Cette soupape est placée à travers l'ouverture du conteneur et comporte elle-même une ouverture à travers laquelle les contenus du conteneur peuvent être versés. Le couvercle est mobile par rapport au corps entre des positions ouverte et fermée et possède une forme permettant de bloquer l'ouverture de soupape, lorsque le couvercle est en position fermée. Le couvercle comprend une saillie, qui forme un joint périphérique autour de l'ouverture de la soupape, lorsque le couvercle est en position fermée et autour de la saillie, la forme du couvercle se conformant sensiblement à la forme de la soupape et/ou du corps afin de réduire au minimum le volume existant entre eux.
