A recordable optical record carrier is provided comprising a recording dye layer, whereby said recording dye layer (111) comprises at least two organic dye materials being absorptive at different wavelengths. Further, a method for writing on such a recordable optical record carrier is proposed. According to the method marks representing the data are written via a writing laser beam at a first predetermined wavelength according to a writing strategy providing a channel bit length and a mark width appropriate for read-out by a beam of electromagnetic radiation at a second predetermined wavelength being different from said first predetermined wavelength.
Ce support d'enregistrement optique enregistrable comprend une couche (111) de pigments d'enregistrement avec au moins deux matériaux colorants organiques absorbants à des longueurs d'onde différentes. L'invention concerne en outre une méthode d'inscription de ce support d'enregistrement optique enregistrable. Selon cette méthode, on inscrit des marques qui représentent les données au moyen d'un faisceau laser d'inscription à une première longueur d'onde prédéterminée en fonction d'une stratégie d'inscription qui assure une longueur de bit de canal et une largeur des marques permettant la lecture par un faisceau de rayonnement électromagnétique à une deuxième longueur d'onde prédéterminée différente de la première longueur d'onde prédéterminée.
