The system comprises a first travelling crab (3, 4) to which is connected a first load (6) and a second travelling crab (5) to which is connected a second load (7); the rail section (1) comprises a first guide surface (8) for carrying the first travelling crab upon the rail section and a second guide surface (9) for supporting the second travelling crab, suspended from the rail section; and the first and second travelling crabs are separately and independent of each other movable, carried by one and the same rail section (1).
