Process and device for de-watering a paper web. The process may include forming a gas current from a gas pressure, directing the gas current substantially through the paper web, and expelling moisture from the paper web. The device a nip, and a first belt and a second belt positioned to guide the paper web through the nip. The paper web may be disposed between the first and second belts, and the device may also include a device for generating a gas flow directed substantially perpendicular to and through the paper web.

Procédé et appareil pour l'essorage d'une bande continue de papier. Le procédé peut comporter les étapes suivantes : formation d'un courant de gaz au moyen de pression, acheminement du courant de gaz vers la bande continue de papier, et expression de l'humidité de la bande continue de papier.
