This invention relates generally to an improved glut and the manufacture of a glut (11) of folded or cut and stacked sheet material aligned to form a block and having apertures (21) therein in order to reduce the overall weight of the glut without substantially reducing its strength, and in particular to methods for manufacturing improved plaster gluts or other articles of folded or cut plasterboard.
