Pipe cleaning apparatuses for oil and gas pipelines are disclosed, in which a shield with a cleaning device is moved forward through a stream of liquid in the pipeline. The shield forms one or several passages for a passing stream of liquid within the pipeline in order to build up a desired pressure and is provided on its rear side with braking means which prevent the speed of advancement from rising to an undesirable extend in that at least one clamping element momentarily adheres to the pipe wall and moves relative to the braking means. This movement is kinematically transmitted to a hydraulic displacer which generates a secondary stream of liquid which is braked through at least one throttle and thus determines the speed between shield and pipe wall.

L'invention concerne des appareils de nettoyage de canalisations pour oléoducs et gazoducs, dans lesquels un bouclier pourvu d'un dispositif de nettoyage se déplace vers l'avant à travers un courant de liquide dans la canalisation. Ce bouclier forme un ou plusieurs passages destinés au passage d'un courant de liquide au sein de la canalisation afin d'établir une pression souhaitée, et comporte sur sa face arrière un système de freinage, lequel empêche une trop grande vitesse d'avancement grâce au fait qu'au moins un élément de serrage adhère momentanément à la paroi de la canalisation et se déplace relativement au système de freinage. Ce mouvement est transmis cinématiquement à un déplaceur hydraulique générant un courant secondaire de liquide, lequel est freiné par l'intermédiaire d'au moins un point d'étranglement et détermine ainsi la vitesse entre le bouclier et la paroi de la canalisation.
