In a transmission system wherein redundant message cells, routed in the course of virtual connections according to the ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) transmission method, are respectively transmitted via redundant transmission paths, a rejection of message cells belonging to a low-priority connection is permitted on the transmission paths to form the total traffic volume. To avoid an overload following the recombination of the message cell streams transmitted via the redundant transmission paths, the message cells of a connection of low priority are received by only one transmission path. For a number of connections, a selection identification character defines the transmission path by which the message cells belonging to these connections are received.
Dans un système de transmission où des cellules de message redondantes, acheminées sur des connexions virtuelles en mode ATM (mode de transfert asynchrone), sont transmises respectivement sur des trajets de transmission redondants, le rejet des cellules de message d'une connexion à faible priorité est permis sur les trajets de transmission pour la constitution du volume de trafic total. Pour éviter une surcharge par suite de la recombinaison des trains de cellules de message transmis sur les trajets de transmission redondants, les cellules de message d'une connexion de faible priorité sont reçues par un seul trajet de transmission. Pour un certain nombre de connexions, un caractère d'identification de sélection définit le trajet de transmission par lequel sont reçues les cellules de message de ces connexions.
