The invention relates to a method of dosing and dispensing a powder agent (A) which is intended for an electrochemical reaction.The inventive method is characterised in that a vertical storage hopper (1) is supplied from above with the product (A). Subsequently, the product is extracted from below via a horizontal discharge conduit (2) which projects into said hopper (1), said product being extracted by means of gravity combined with the forced movement of the product through the aforementioned conduit (2) towards the outside using a gas stream (F).
