2082644 9116853 PCTABS00008 The disclosure relates to a dream machine, arranged to awake a sleeper experiencing a dream. In one embodiment a physical condition of the sleeper is monitored by a sensor (11), the sensed physical condition is compared with a predetermined value for the physical condition and when the monitored value of the physical condition reaches the predetermined value an alarm (19) wakes the sleeper. In one form the predetermined value is set manually but in other arrangements said value is calculated in the machine.
