An electronic flash device including a self- oscillating charging circuit, a momentary trigger for initiating oscillations of the circuit to charge a flash capacitor, and a voltage sensing device coupled directly between the circuit and the flash capacitor for arresting the oscillations when the capacitor is fully charged. The voltage sensor includes a zener diode in series with a neon ready-light, and switches on a transistor to ground the charging circuit and arrest the oscillations when the capacitor is fully charged. Actuation of the flash device automatically restarts the oscillations and recharges the flash capacitor. A process for recycling a single use camera having such an electronic flash device also is disclosed.
Cette invention se rapporte à un flash électronique qui comprend un circuit de charge auto-oscillant, un déclencheur à action momentanée servant à faire démarrer les oscillations du circuit afin de charger un condensateur de flash, ainsi qu'un dispositif capteur de tension couplé directement entre le circuit et le condensateur de flash et servant à interrompre les oscillations lorsque le condensateur est entièrement chargé. Ce capteur de tension comprend une diode Zener montée en série avec un indicateur lumineux à néon, ledit capteur se commutant sur un transistor pour relier à la terre le circuit de charge et pour interrompre les oscillations lorsque le condensateur est totalement chargé. En actionnant le flash automatiquement, on fait redémarrer les oscillations et on recharge le condensateur de flash. Un procédé pour recycler un appareil photographique jetable équipé d'un tel flash électronique est également décrit.
