ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A trailer is provided which permits a load to be loaded at ground level, while the trailer hitch remains attached to the towing vehicle. The trailer has a deck that can be lowered relative to the trailer frame by either lifting mechanisms working in conjunction with a pivot between the deck and frame, or by four lifting mechanisms, one positioned near each corner of the deck.
