There is provided a frac adapter (40) configured to couple a frac tree (42) to a wellhead component. The frac adapter may couple the frac tree to a casing head (IS) without a tubing head (14), thereby enabling the well to be fractured before the tubing head is installed. As a result, the tubing head used in well production may be pressure-rated for production pressures rather than for f racing pressures. The frac adapter may be coupled to or integral with the frac tree. In addition, a union-nut coupling (44) may be employed to quickly and easily assemble and disassemble the frac adapter from the wellhead component, such as the casing head. The union-nut coupling may further enable the components to be pressure-tested before the fracturing process is initiated.
L'invention porte sur un adaptateur de fracturation (40) configuré de façon à coupler un arbre de fracturation (42) à un composant de tête de puits. L'adaptateur de fracturation peut coupler l'arbre de fracturation à une tête de tubage (IS) sans tête de colonne de production (14), de façon à permettre ainsi au puits d'être fracturé avant que la tête de colonne de production ne soit installée. En résultat, la tête de colonne de production utilisée dans la production de puits peut fonctionner en termes de pression à des pressions de production plutôt qu'à des pressions de fracturation.
