A signal detector for detecting a narrow-band signal of a desired frequency, using an adaptive type FIR filter having two filter coefficients, is disclosed. Using this filter, the input signal of a shift register which delays the signal, is estimated by referring to the output therefrom. An arrow-band signal of a desired frequency is detected by comparing each filter coefficient of this filter with a known filter coefficient corresponding to the frequency which is the object of detection.

L'invention est un détecteur de signaux à largeur de bande étroite d'une fréquence désirée qui utilise un filtre adaptatif à réponse impulsionnelle finie ayant deux coefficients de filtrage. € l'aide de ce filtre, le signal d'entrée d'un registre à décalage qui retarde le signal est évalué par référence au signal de sortie de ce registre. Le signal à bande étroite de la fréquence désirée est détecté par comparaison de chaque coefficient de filtrage de ce filtre avec un coefficient de filtrage connu correspondant à la fréquence visée par la détection.
