Polyoxyalkylene polyols containing double metal cyanide complexes or residues thereof as are produced during the preparation of polyoxyalkylene polyols by the double metal cyanide complex catalyzed oxyalkylation of a suitably functional hydric initiator are stable without catalyst removal. Isocyanate-termi-nated prepolymers prepared from such polyols are sur-prisingly viscosity-stable relative to similar pre-polymers prepared from polyols not containing double metal cyanide complexes or residues thereof.

Des polyoxyalkylènepolyols contenant des complexes de cyanure de métal double ou de leurs résidus tels qu'ils sont produits durant la préparation de polyoxyalkylène polyols par l'oxyalkylation catalysée de complexe de cyanure métallique double d'un initiateur hydrique convenablement fonctionnel sont stables sans le retrait de catalyseur. Des prépolymères à isocyanate résilié préparés à partir de polyols tels sont étonnamment stables sur le plan de la viscosité par rapport à des prépolymères semblables préparés à partir de polyols ne contenant pas de complexes de cyanure métallique double ou leurs résidus.
