A vehicle door latch (10) has a housing (2) having a mouth (4) for receiving a striker. A ratchet (56) is pivotally mounted to the housing for rotation between latched and unlatched conditions. The ratchet (56) cooperates with the mouth (4) to selectively retain a striker. A pawl (62) is mounted to the housing (2) for releasably engaging the ratchet (56). The pawl (62) is moveable relative to the ratchet (56) between a rest position engaging the ratchet to block movement of the ratchet toward the unlatched condition and a released position disengaging the ratchet to allow movement of the ratchet toward the unlatched condition. A release lever (22) is mounted to the housing and operably connected to the pawl (62) by a clutch lever (94) extending therebetween. The clutch lever (94) is moveable between an engaged position operably connecting the release lever (22) to the pawl (62) effecting movement of the pawl toward the released position and a disengaged position operably disconnecting the release lever from the pawl. A locking lever (100) is mounted to the housing for moving the clutch lever (94) between the engaged and disengaged positions. The clutch lever (94) moves in a first plane (19) to effect movement of the pawl and the locking lever moves the clutch lever out the first plane (19) to effect movement between the engaged and said disengaged positions.
La présente invention concerne un verrou (10) de portière de véhicule qui possède un logement (2) pourvu d'une bouche (4) permettant de recevoir une came. Un encliquetage (56) est monté pivotant au niveau du logement de façon à tourner entre des états verrouillé et déverrouillé. Cet encliquetage (56) coopère avec la bouche (4) de façon à retenir de façon sélective une came. Un cliquet (62) est monté au niveau du logement (2) de façon à entrer en contact déverrouillable avec l'encliquetage (56).Ce cliquet (62) est mobile par rapport à l'encliquetage (56) entre une position de repos en contact avec cet encliquetage de façon à bloquer le déplacement de ce dernier en position déverrouillée et une position déverrouillée sans contact avec l'encliquetage qui permet le déplacement de ce dernier en position déverrouillée. Un levier de déverrouillage (22) est monté au niveau du logement et connecté opérationnel au cliquet (62) par un levier (94) d'embrayage situé entre ces deux éléments. Ce levier (94) d'embrayage peut se déplacer entre une position embrayée connectant de façon opérationnelle le levier (22) de déverrouillage au cliquet (62) et il a pour effet de déplacer ce cliquet (62) en position déverrouillée, et une position débrayée déconnectant de façon opérationnelle le levier (22) de déverrouillage du cliquet. Un levier de verrouillage (100) est monté au niveau du logement de façon à déplacer le levier (94) d'embrayage entre des positions embrayée et débrayée. Le levier (94) d'embrayage se déplace dans un premier plan (19) de façon à induire le déplacement du cliquet et le levier de verrouillage déplace le levier d'embrayage hors de ce premier plan (19) de façon à induire un déplacement entre les positions embrayée et débrayée.
