An access cover (10) for a receptacle fitting (18) includes a cover plate (12) connectable to the fitting (18) at a location overlying a receptacle carried by the fitting (18). An access door (14) includes a first portion (70) slidably connected to the cover plate (12) for movement between open and closed positions. The access door (14) also includes a second portion (72) having a first end pivotally connected to the access door first portion. The second end of the door second portion (72) pivots to a first position overlying the receptacle in response to movement of the access door first portion (70) towards its closed position, and pivots to a second position at which the receptacle is exposed and accessible through the cover plate (12) in response to movement of the access door (14) first portion towards its open position. Pivot features are formed on the cover plate (12) and/or the access door (14) for imparting rotational forces on the door second portion (72) as the door first portion (70) is slid between its open and closed positions.
L'invention concerne un couvercle d'accès pour garniture de réceptacle, qui comprend un panneau de couvercle susceptible d'être relié à la garniture en un point situé au-dessus d'un réceptacle reposant sur la garniture. Une porte d'accès comprend une première partie reliée coulissante au panneau de couvercle, pour le va-et-vient entre les positions ouverte et fermée. Ladite porte comprend également une seconde partie à première extrémité reliée pivotante à la première partie. La seconde extrémité de la seconde partie de la porte pivote vers une première position au-dessus du réceptacle, suite au déplacement de la première partie de la porte vers la position fermée, et pivote vers une seconde position dans laquelle le réceptacle est exposé et accessible à travers le panneau de couvercle, suite au déplacement de la première partie de la porte vers la position ouverte. Des pivots sont établis sur le panneau de couvercle et/ou la porte d'accès, imprimant des forces de rotation à la seconde partie de cette porte lorsque la première partie de ladite porte coulisse entre les positions ouverte et fermée. Si la garniture comprend des réceptacles multiples, la porte d'accès peut être conçue pour couvrir un certain nombre de réceptacles ou l'ensemble des réceptacles. De même, si un réceptacle comporte une pluralité de bornes ou sorties, la porte d'accès peut être conçue pour couvrir tout ou partie des bornes/sorties dans le réceptacle. Selon une variante, des portes d'accès séparées de construction identique ou différente peuvent être prévues pour chaque réceptacle dans la garniture et/ou chaque borne/sortie de réceptacle spécifique.
