The present invention is a system of cross-selling advertising space provided by a franchisor wherein a first franchisee can sell space on a second franchisee's advertising space. The first and second franchisees will then share the revenue from such sale. A computer network is used to provide a database for the franchisees to indicate the availability of their respective advertising spaces and to allow communications of offers to rent such spaces from the franchisee receiving the offer to the franchisee owning the sign.
