Description

The present invention provides an improved tape feeder that has, among other improvements, a double arm clamp to provide additional stability when attaching it to receiving equipment; an improved tape path for preventing unwanted looping of the tape; an improved gear assembly for preventing curling of the substrate layer of the tape; am index arm biased to prevent the reel holding the tape from falling off the reel pin; and an improved tape capacity indicator.
