There is disclosed a combination for removably fixing a material to be exhibited on a polished surface. The combination comprises a sheet of electrostatic vinyl, the material to be exhibited, and an arrangement enabling to fix the material to the sheet of electrostatic vinyl. In this manner, upon fixing the material against the sheet of electrostatic vinyl, the combination can be removably fixed to the polished surface. There is also disclosed a fastening device comprising a pair of bands made of electrostatic vinyl, one end of each band being fixed to an article to be fastened, the opposite ends being arranged to overlap one another so as to be easily peelable, but strongly secured together with high shear strength.
