A B S T R A C T A method of measuring the flow of a multi-phase fluid having a continuous phase and a dispersed phase in the form of bubbles, comprising the step of producing, by means of a local sensor whose dimension in the flow direction is substantially smaller than the bubble dimension, a signal having different levels depending on which fluid phase is in contact with the sensor. The transitions between the levels of the signal carry information related to the flow parameters. Fig. 2
