Novel imidazoquinolone derivative represented by the formula (I); Image wherein R1 represents hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl aralkyl, aralkenyl or substituted or unsubstituted aryl; X represents nitrogen or Image where R2 is hydrogen, hydroxyl, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl, aralkenyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, thiol, halogen, substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group, or -(CH2)mCO2R6 where R6 is hydrogen or lower alkyl and m is an integer of 0 to 3; Y represents oxygen or sulfur; R3 represents alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxyalkly, alkenyl, aralkyl, aralkenyl, -(CH2)n-Het where Het is substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group and n is an integer of 1 to 3 or -(CH2)nCO2R6a where n has the same meaning as defined above and R6a has the same meaning as defined as to R6; each of R4 and R5 independently represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, trifluoromethyl, cycloalkyl, halogen, hydroxyl, lower alkoxyl, lower alkylthio, nitro, amino, lower alkylamino, lower alkanoylamino, aroylamino, lower alkanoyl or aroyl; and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The Compound (I) and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof show broncho-dilatory and antiallergic activities, and are useful for treating respiratory disorders such as bronchial asthma.

Nouveau dérivé de l'imidazoquinolone, représenté par la formule (I) Image , où R1 représente de l'hydrogène, un groupe alkyle, cycloalkyle, alcényle, aralkyle, aralcényle ou aryle avec ou sans substitution; X représente de l'azote ou Image , R2 est de l'hydrogène, un groupe hydroxyle, alkyle, cycloalkyle, alcényle, aralkyle, aralcényle, aryle avec ou sans substitution, thiol, halogène, un groupe aromatique hétérocyclique avec ou sans substitution, un groupe hétérocylique, ou -(CH2)mCO2R6, où R6 est un hydrogène ou un alkyle inférieur et m est un entier de 0 à 3; Y représente de l'oxygène ou du soufre; R3 représente un groupe alkyle, cycloalkyle, alcoxyalkyle, alcényle, aralkyle, aralcényle, -(CH2)n-Het, où Het est un groupe aromatique hétérocyclique avec ou sans substitution et n est un entier de 1 à 3, ou -(CH2)nCO2R6a, où n la même signification que ci-dessus et R6a désigne la même chose que R6; R4 et R5 sont chacun indépendamment de l'hydrogène, un groupe alkyle inférieur, trifluorométhyle, cycloalkyle, halogène, hydroxyle, alcoxy inférieur, alkylthio inférieur, nitro, amino, alkylamino inférieur, alcanoylamino inférieur, aroylamino, alcanoyle inférieur ou aroyle; et un de ses sels acceptables en pharmacie. Le composé (I) et un de ses sels, acceptable en pharmacie, ont une action de bronchodilatation et une activité antiallergène; ils sont utiles pour le traitement de troubles respiratoires, comme l'asthme bronchique.
