ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A wheeled device for tasting a laminated core has an axle carrying spaced apart wheels designed to ride over a surface of the core to be tested. Means are provided for detecting the magnetic flux in said flux path to enable detection of faults in the core.
