DNA vaccine against a pathogen affecting farm animals, in particular bovines or porcines, comprising a plasmid containing a nucleotide sequence encoding an immunogen of a pathogen of the animal species considered, under conditions allowing the in vivo expression of this sequence, and a cationic lipid containing a quaternary ammonium salt, of formula (see above formula) in which R1 is a saturated or unsaturated linear aliphatic radical having 12 to 18 carbon atoms, R2 is another aliphatic radical containing 2 or 3 carbon atoms, and X a hydroxyl or amine group, this lipid being preferably DMRIE.
Vaccin AND contre un pathogène touchant les animaux de rente, notamment les bovins ou les porcins, comprenant un plasmide contenant une séquence nucléotidique codant pour un immunogène d'un pathogène de l'espèce animale considérée, dans des conditions permettant l'expression in vivo de cette séquence, et un lipide cationique contenant un sel d'ammonium quaternaire, de formule (I) dans laquelle R¿1? est un radical aliphatique linéaire, saturé ou insaturé, ayant 12 à 18 atomes de carbone, R¿2? est un autre radical aliphatique, renfermant 2 ou 3 atomes de carbone, et X un groupement hydroxyle ou amine, ce lipide étant de préférence le DMRIE.
