A method and apparatus for enabling a call connection between a calling (30) and a called (35) party via a roamer port (15) is disclosed. When a calling party (30) attempts to contact the mobile station (35) via the roamer port (15), a determination is made as to whether or not the home lcoation register (40) associated with the mobile station (35) accepts calls from the roamer port (15) by accessing the database (45) prior to attempted connections. Upon indicating that the home location register (40) does not accept calls from the roamer port (15), call connection is discontinued.
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de valider l'établissement d'une communication entre un appelant (30) et un appelé (35) via un point d'accès à portée étendue (15). Lorsqu'un appelant (30) tente de contacter une station mobile (35) via le point d'accès à portée étendue (15), on détermine, en interrogeant la base de données (45) avant l'établissement de la communication, si la mémoire des positions des utilisateurs permanents (40) associée à ladite station mobile (35) accepte les communications provenant du point d'accès à portée étendue (15). Dans le cas où la mémoire des positions des utilisateurs permanents (40) n'accepte pas les communications provenant du point d'accès à portée étendue (15), l'établissement de la communication est interrompu.
