The invention concerns a method comprising steps which consist in: preparing an organic mixture comprising oil, monomers selected among acrylic acid -and methacrylic acid esters and at most 25 % of an acrylic or methacrylic monomer having an acid, amide, amine or epoxy group; placing said mixture in mini-emulsion in an aqueous phase in the presence of a co-solvent, preferably of the polyalkylene glycol type; copolymerising said monomers in emulsion. When said emulsion is applied in a thin coating on a metal surface, it provides simultaneously a dry appearance, efficient protection and pre-lubricating effect.
Procédé de préparation comprenant les étapes consistant à: préparer un mélange organique comprenant de l'huile, des monomères choisis parmi les esters de l'acide acrylique et de l'acide méthacrylique et au plus 25 % d'un monomère acrylique ou méthacrylique présentant un groupement acide, amide, amine ou époxy, mettre en miniémulsion ledit mélange dans une phase aqueuse en présence du co-solvant, de préférence de type polyalkylène glycol, co-polymériser lesdits monomères en émulsion. Appliquée en film mince sur une surface métallique, on obtient à la fois un aspect sec, une protection efficace et un effet prélubrifiant.
