A friction drive system trolley conveyer includes a conveyer rail having a circular section, laid along a conveyer line, multiple J-letter-shaped rail suspension members that bear the undersides of the conveyer rail at specific intervals in the longitudinal direction of the rail, multiple reverse J-letter-shaped hook members that slide on the upsides of the conveyer rail in the longitudinal direction of the rail, a driven bar hung transversely between the reverse J-letter-shaped hook members, which hangs a conveyed material, and friction drive means disposed with a space along the conveyer line, which slide the driven bar in the conveyance direction while holding both the sides of the driven bar. The friction drive system trolley conveyer thus constructed is able to convey even a heavy conveyed material without noises in a stable manner without rolling, and to simplify the system construction and facilitate the maintenance work.
